Public Relations Committee Meets Jan. 12

Ed Baker, chairman of the newly formed KCOT Public Relations Committee, has called the second meeting for 11:15 a.m. Thursday Jan.12 at Shalimar, before the regular meeting that week.  Members are Ed Baker, Rob Kubasko, Beth Fiorenza, Sharon Doyle, Tom Sands and Lawn Griffiths.

 

The group identified two major goals of the committee's work

• To drive membership in the Kiwanis Club of Tempe through increased awareness of its work, mission and accomplishments.
• To increase public awareness of Kiwanis Club of Tempe's work via an organized calendar of traditional and social media outreach to highlight major KCOT events and achievements.

Ed Baker told members Thursday that the inaugural meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Tempe Public Relations Committee was just before the regular luncheon meeting, with Ed being joined by Rob Kubasko, Tom Sands, Beth Fiorenza, Pam Goronkin and Lawn Griffiths.

KCOT Public Relations Committee to Kick Off Dec. 1

Ed Baker said he has scheduled the inaugural meeting of the newly  reconstituted KCOT PR Committee for 11:15 p.m. Thursday Dec. 1 in the Shalimar lounge.  Among those planning to be part of the committee are Tom Sands, Sharon Doyle, Beth Fiorenza, Rob Kubasko and Lawn Griffiths. Anyone else interested is invited to attend.
