Back to School Shopping for B&G Club Kids is July 30

Vic Cordts, branch executive of the Ladmo Branch of the Boys and Girls Club in Tempe, said there will be an appeal for KCOT volunteers for the annual Shopping Spree for the Boys and Girls Club. For well over a decade, our Club has provided Kiwanians to accompany kids from the B&G club in a back-to-school shopping spree for clothing to wear back to the classroom.   KCOT provides $100 for the new duds. About 30 kids will be served. It will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday July 30 at the Target Store, at Southern Avenue and Longmore in Mesa, same site as last year.  More details later.  Please mark your calendar to help out.
