CKI Tallies First Semester Accomplishments

On Thursday, Tori Houle, K-Family Liaison, shared the accomplishments of Arizona State University Circle K Club in the first semester.  It was also shared in CKI President Erin Lin's summary in a new message to members:
"Hey there everyone! This is what we achieved:
  • ELIMINATED Maternal Neonatal Tetanus for 155 women and their future children by raising $278.78 Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF
  • raised 927 POUNDS of food for St. Mary's Food bank from our Castle of Cans
  • participated in over 30 service projects
  • painted a house!
  • sent over 20 people to the Southwest District Fall Rally
  • had over 600 hours of service
  • are 49 paid members strong.

Tori Houle reported that ASU Circle K students built their Castle of Cans on the lawn on Wednesday Nov. 16. ASU Arizona State Circle K Club was one of five campus organizations that took a step toward relieving hunger in the annual "Castle of Cans" competition...

Hello KCOT members! Next week -- Wednesday Nov. 16 -- is our Castle of Cans! CKI will compete with other campus groups to construct their own castle of food.

Circle K Update

ASU Circle K's K Family Liaison Tori Houle said Circle K'ers have put in a combined 640 service hours since the start of the school year, including 323 hours from October on.

ASU Circle K Will Build A 'Castle Of Cans' Again

The Arizona State University Circle K Club is urging members of the Kiwanis Club of Tempe to fill a shopping bag with groceries – or any amount of food -- and bring it to Kiwanis next Thursday so they can make them building blocks for the "Castle of Cans" (canned goods and non-perishable food) they will erect at ASU.
