POLAR PLUNGE AT THE LAKES HELPS SENIOR OLYMPICS

Special Olympics in Tempe will benefit from the “Polar Plunge at The Lakes” at 9 a.m. Saturday Jan. 28 at the 5501 S. Lakeshore Drive, Tempe. “Freeze Your Paws for a Cause” is the command for the inaugural Polar Plunge. A desert-style, unified “polar plunge” can be made for $20, which includes a “cool” T-shirt, yummy snacks, hot beverages and bragging rights.
