02/23/12 - Tempe Mayoral Candidates

Menu: Hamburgers, bratwurst with all the “fixins” and French fries and onion rings.

Speaker: MAYORAL CANDIDATES  - Tempe’s three candidates for mayor in the March 13 primary elections are invited to lay out their vision and ideas for leading Tempe for the next four years, beginning in July, as Mayor Hugh Hallman leaves the post after two terms.  Linda Spears, Mark Mitchell and Michael Monti will each be given time to talk about their positions and take questions.  Invite guests, spouses and friends to hear them. Questions can be posed to them.

03/01/12 - Tempe Council Candidates

Speaker: THREE TEMPE CITY COUNCIL HOPEFULS – The three non-incumbents for the Tempe City Council will speak. All are seeking a new four-year term.  At least one newcomer will be on the City Council when the new terms begin in July.  Speaking will be Richard Foreman, Kolby Granville and Angie Taylor Thornton.  The two incumbents seeking re-election, Joel Narvarro and Corey Woods, will speak the follow week in advance of the March 13 primary.

03/08/12 - Tempe Council Candidates

Speaker: INCUMBENT BOARD MEMBERS TO SPEAK – Two of the three members of the Tempe City Council whose four-year terms expire and who are seeking re-election will speak. They are Corey Woods and Joel Navarro, each of whom is completing his first terms.  Both are KCOT members. They will compete against Richard Foreman, Kolby Granville and Angie Taylor Thornton, all of whom speak March 1.

03/15/12 - Childhood Hearing and Education

Speaker: DR. GABRIELLE SADOWSKY is an audiologist who does volunteer work for Sertoma. The statistics on the educational level children with hearing problems achieve is disheartening. Part of Sertoma's work is to make  sure these students get the help they need to continue their education.  Dr. Jamie Bogash offered the topic.

03/22/12 - Tempe Election Wrap Up

Speaker: ROB KUBASKO, KCOT member and political consultant on the national and local level, will do an analysis of the Tempe primary election of  March 13 and tell what can be expected for the General Election in mid-May if a runoff is needed.
